The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences’ Child Study Center provides high quality observational, participatory, and educational experiences for over 175 university students enrolled in these courses per year. Students participate in either a laboratory component or as an employee and are engaged in experimental learning. The CSC is also used as an interdisciplinary observation site for other classes. Periodically, the center serves as a research site for doctoral students and/or other faculty on campus. The center provides a rich environment for collaborative research among several disciplines.
