For adults with no previous instruction in French or for those who wish to brush up on their skills in conversational French at a beginning level. Course taught by Nicolas Renet, who was born in Paris, and has a B.A. in French literature and M.A. in Medieval History.

Instruction in finger spelling and basic conversation based on American Sign Language and signed English. Course is taught by Laura Shadoin.
CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH 1
Tuesdays/Thursdays, 2-3 p.m., March 20 - April 19, 2012; Cost $75
Basic grammar and expressions used in everyday life; practice situational English through dialogues and role plays. Classes are reinforced by homework assignments designed to be useful in daily life. No prior knowledge of English is required. Course is taught by Ana Mann, TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) instructor, interpreter, and translator.
CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH 2
Tuesdays/Thursdays, 3-4 p.m., March 20 - April 19, 2012; Cost $75
Intermediate level grammar and expressions used in everyday life; practice speaking, writing, listening and reading in English. All activities are designed to ensure the development of all four skills. Classes are reinforced by homework assignments designed to be useful in daily life. Basic knowledge of English is required. Course is taught by Ana Mann, TESOL instructor, interpreter and translator.

Baron’s artful way of recording your favorite stories uses colored papers, photos, writing, stamps and pictures from magazines. Classes include directions, ideas, journal prompts, and art supplies. Bring a few photos (copies would be best) and your writing pen, to record treasured memories.
Sandi Baron is a retreat leader who shares her writing and creative skills with others, a blogger (Sandi’s Impressions) about lessons from everyday life, a freelance writer, and an oil painter.
