Ball State couldn't have become a leader in emerging media by isolating our efforts on campus, no matter how extensive
our resources might be and how many
great minds we gather in
Muncie, Indiana.
Leadership in this field requires reaching out to partners, collaborators, and sponsors. We are privileged to work and interface with corporate giants like Apple, Adobe, PepsiCo, Time Warner, NBC Universal, and Eli Lilly; government agencies and nonprofits, including National Public Radio and the Guggenheim Museum; and leaders in media research, such as the Nielsen Council for Research Excellence and the Poynter Institute.
The Emerging Media Initiative also has established a national advisory board to provide guidance in curriculum development, internships, research, and partnerships with industry. Members include media and technology industry experts from across the nation and beyond.
