One way we prepare you for life after Ball State is to place you in real-world situations that allow you to apply what you have learned in the classroom. This type of immersive learning gives you the experience and confidence to succeed after graduation.

Immersive learning is at the heart of our New Venture Creation course, nicknamed “senior sweat.” In this one-of-a-kind course, your experience will mirror that of a real-world entrepreneur as you work through all the steps of creating your own business plan—and put your graduation on the line when you present it to a panel of experts. An internship is a way you will gain real-world experience and is an elective for all entrepreneurial management majors. In the program, you also get a chance to assist businesses through consulting. Working side-by-side with up-and-coming entrepreneurs is a great way for you to see the day-to-day challenges of running your own business.
