At Ball State, we want you to use all the knowledge you have learned and apply it to a real-world situation.

Nationally recognized as the ultimate entrepreneurial experience, our New Venture Creation course gives you the chance to feel the entrepreneurial heat. This is one of the elements that sets our entrepreneurship program apart from all the rest. It is tough, challenging, and stressful, but when you pass the course, you will feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.

This one-of-a-kind class lives up to its nicknames, “senior sweat.” You must present a business plan to a panel of business professionals in a heart pounding, all-or-nothing E-day (Evaluation Day) three days prior to graduation.

If your plan receives the stamp of approval, you receive an A for the class and continue to graduation. If your plan is rejected, you do not pass the class, and you must try again the next spring before you can graduate.
