Consulting
Our dedication to assisting businesses with challenging projects also gives students a chance to work on real-world business problems and opportunities alongside their classmates, faculty, business leaders, and emerging entrepreneurs. In the Entrepreneurial Consulting course (MGT 441), a group of studentsĀ is connected with entrepreneurs who are in the midst of facing challenges and opportunities. Although each experience is unique, students have worked with companies to provide market research, market analysis, and assistance with processes and supply chain solutions. The following are a few specific examples of how entrepreneurs have teamed up with Ball State University students:
- Students conducted market research, researched supply chain operations, and made industry contacts for distribution of Green Toad pivoting paint applicators.
- Midwest POS Solutions Inc. in Anderson, Indiana, decided against the launch of a new product after the company saw the results of market research conducted by our students, suggesting the product would not be profitable.
- Students conducted a complete supply chain analysis, focusing on Asian sourcing, for Kid's Klutter Tamers, LLC, a startup producing child toy organization products, with a focus on providing solutions for parents with autistic children.
If you are a business looking to take advantage of this opportunity and partner with a team of students, please send us your business consulting request.
