The Enterprise 8 could be referred to as the greatest business plan tournament in March. Hosted by Ball State's Entrepreneurship Center, it attracts students from universities across the U.S. and Canada. Located in Indiana, we found it only fitting to honor a true Indiana heritage of basketball by conducting this event at John E. Worthen Arena on the campus of Ball State University.
Eight semi-finalist teams are selected, based on submitted business plans and are invited to Muncie, Indiana. Business plans will be reviewed by a selection committee of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and business executives.
The selected teams compete in a free throw competition to determine seed placing within the bracket of this exciting business plan tournament.
Four teams will advance to the "Entrepreneurial Four" round where they will compete for the final two seats in the "Championship" round.
In the "Championship" round, teams will present their plans at center court of John E. Worthen Arena for a $15,000 winner take all cash prize and a chance to be the next Cinderella Story to cut down the net. Taking the history back to your campus.
