MBA Sales Management Concentration

Ball State is the only university in Indiana, and only one of a handful nationally, to offer a graduate-level concentration in professional selling and sales management.  This all-online option is designed for individuals interested in better understanding the important role sales plays in the success of an organization. 

In this 12-hour concentration, students will learn:

  • how to design and implement effective strategies to build and manage successful buyer-seller relationships
  • insight into how to select, develop, compensate, and otherwise manage sales people in a manner that is consistent with, and helps accomplish, the organization’s strategic objectives
  • how to increase sales and sales management effectiveness through the integration of technology, including computer and communications hardware and software, customer relationship management software, social networking tools, emerging media, and other related tools

Through this offering, Ball State continues its national leadership in the area of professional selling and sales management, especially with its H.H. Gregg Center for Professional Selling. Students graduating with this concentration will have a distinctive skill that is relevant and directly applicable to the business challenges facing organizations today.
