Workshops, seminars, and other enrichment offerings provide working professionals the opportunity to learn skills, have fun, and meet new people. These convenient classes are open to everyone, do not require university admission, and do not count toward academic credit.

The Midwest Research and Graduate Administrators Forum (MRGAF) is designed to maximize communication between colleagues who serve in similar combined roles of research and graduate school administration primarily in the five state area: Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. The primary focus of the organization is research administration, so colleagues serving only the research role are considered members; those administrators serving only as graduate deans have a forum (MAGS: Midwest Association of Graduate Schools) to which they can belong. Further, the member institutions of this organization will include mid-major, research-intensive universities, but not R-1 level institutions. Administratively, members of MRGAF serve research administrative roles between Directors of Research Offices and Vice-Presidents of Research; although there may be a few exceptions. There will be, then, a group of “like” administrators to which all members can communicate through email. One meeting will be scheduled during the academic year.
Cancellation policy for all professional development offerings: 100% refund for cancellation made 14 days or more prior to the event; substitutions may be made within 7 days of the event; however, refunds will not be given.
