Overview of Our Program
Ball State University is the only Indiana university offering a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering technology (MET) with an emphasis in plastics. The MET program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
As a student in our program, you will gain practical, real-world experience by working directly with local companies on industrial projects and research activities. Internship opportunities with these companies can give you even more hands-on experience.
You can gain even more experience by becoming a member of Ball State's chapter of the Society of Plastics Engineers.
