September 2011:

In September, the delegation from Tikrit University, Iraq, completed another week of professional development on the BSU campus.  Four administrators, six faculty members and the director of the career counseling center followed programs individualized to their needs, including observing classes, meetings with their BSU counterparts and planning collaborative research.  Mr. Omar, Director of the TU Career Center, at the invitation of Mollie Fout, Director of BSU’s Career Center, attended the fall career fair.  Dr. Thamer, Vice President for Academic Affairs, said that the Government of Iraq is interested in funding an additional two years of the $1 million grant.  CID will prepare a proposal for this funding.
