Admission and Degree Requirements
To be considered for admission to the Fisher Institute master’s program, you need to:
- hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale
- have a combined score of approximately 300 (using the current scale) (250 for gerontology) on the verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
- apply to and be accepted by Ball State’s Graduate School
- complete a departmental application
The departmental application needs to include:
- a letter of intent
- a brief narrative (no more than 500 words) of your interest in wellness management or applied gerontology, including personal lifestyle concerns and career goals
- your resume
- three letters of recommendation to the Fisher Institute
