Applied Gerontology Degree

Ball State is one of the few universities offering programs in gerontology at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We have been recognized for offering the “most comprehensive graduate gerontology program in the state” by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education.

At Ball State’s annual Kirkpatrick Lecture on Aging, you will interact with leading gerontologists and explore recent developments in the field. You can also take advantage of other professional workshops, seminars, and programs in gerontology which are offered throughout the year both locally and regionally. Our Community Center for Vital Aging, located in downtown Muncie, Indiana, will provide you with the opportunity to work with aging adults (those 50+) on various levels.
