Gerontology Minor

The Fisher Institute for Wellness and Gerontology offers a minor in the study of aging and the aged. The minor requires 21 hours of course work, 12 hours from core gerontology courses and 9 hours of electives in subjects related to gerontology.

The Institute also consults with community organizations that provide direct services to the elderly, the Indiana State Commission on the Aging and the Aged, the state network of Area Agencies on Aging, and nursing homes.
