The Writing Center wants to support teachers of writing in whatever ways we can. We create presentations and workshops to address specific concerns. For instance, we have provided peer tutors to classrooms to help facilitate peer response. We have also put together many customized workshops. We can also help with research and writing at a variety of levels.
We can help you think about writing without entering your class by providing access to the handouts and links we have found helpful in our own writing.
We are also developing a series of quirky videos explaining various concepts in writing.
