Many graduates of our anthropology programs have been successful in achieving the goals they set for themselves while students at Ball State. Many have continued their studies in graduate school, while others went directly into professional careers.
Anthropology students pursuing graduate study have been accepted to a variety of programs across the United States as well as abroad. We’ve had students attend the University of New York to receive master’s degree in development economics and the University of Nottingham in the UK for a master’s in Mediterranean archaeology. Others have stayed close to home, continuing their studies at Ball State or nearby IUPUI in Indianapolis.
Our students’ career pursuits after graduation have ranged from internships at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis and a radio station in Fort Wayne to full-time employment at Minnetrista in Muncie and Eli Lilly and Company in Indianapolis. Other graduates have become teachers.
