Watch the file size. In a digital portfolio whether it is a PowerPoint file, Word file, or website, file size is important. One way to make the file size smaller is to compress or resize the image to a lower resolution (dpi).
Image size (dimensions) matters. Changing dimensions also helps to keep the file size smaller. Don't let your images become so large that they take over the page. You want the page to contain a lot of content (information) – which is what your audience is looking for.
