Galleries and Exhibitions

Art students have multiple opportunities to exhibit their work and to view exhibitions by professional artists. The Atrium Gallery located in the Art and Journalism Building offers invitational exhibitions, traveling exhibitions, and exhibitions by visiting artists. It is also the final exhibition venue for the Department of Art's seniors and graduate students. The annual student show is held every spring semester in three galleries of the prestigious David Owsley Museum of Art. The studio faculty makes every effort to assist students in establishing contact with local and university exhibition venues as well as alerting students to competitive exhibition opportunities on the regional and national levels.
