Scholarships

The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at Ball State provides an awards and scholarships list. Follow the links for specific information on the scholarships, including the deadlines to apply. Many scholarships are based on merit such as academic achievement and leadership qualities.

If an award requires financial need, you must apply for financial aid by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 10. The same form is also an application for grants, loans, and other forms of assistance. We recommend you fill our the FAFSA even if you don't think you qualify for aid. You have nothing to lose.

One example of a scholarship is the Newell C. Cook Sr. and Jr. Scholarship to one microbiology student and one organic chemistry student.
