Requirements
Earning a biology degree with an aquatic biology and fisheries option means you have mastered the fundamentals of aquatic biology. Plus, you've completed a curriculum that has taken into account the basic requirements of potential employers, including state and federal agencies and private consulting firms.
To better prepare you for a field that often requires a master's or doctoral degree, our program stresses the basic supporting areas of the field--chemistry, mathematics, statistics, and physics. In addition, you should consider the role technology will play in your future career and selecting appropriate courses to supplement your required courses.
The following is the required course work under this option. Keep in mind that some courses are taught on a rotating basis and we will help you lay out a four year plan.
