As an undergraduate student, you have an opportunity to gain
research experience that is typically experienced by master's or doctoral students. Previous students have worked side-by-side with faculty on researching or investigating:
- conservation of plant diversity
- plant community ecology
- floristic inventories of natural areas
- vegetation monitoring in response to fire management
- ultrastructure, physiology, and taxonomy of fungi
- climate and pollution stress effects on forest communities
- landscape analysis of regional plant communities
