Pre-Pharmacy Program: Butler University Program Requirements
Ball State University does not grant a degree in pharmacy. However, you may choose to complete two years of pre-pharmacy coursework at Ball State and then apply to transfer to
Butler University's College of Pharmacy. If you have earned some college credits, you may be accepted into the first, second, or third year of the Butler program that leads to a B.S. in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
Pre-pharmacy course requirements differ from school to school, so Butler will conduct a course-by-course evaluation to assess the level at which you will begin study. In addition to the designated basic sciences and general education requirements, once accepted into the program, you will complete a minimum of three years of professional pharmacy courses.
