Ready to pursue your bachelor’s degree in
architecture,
landscape architecture, or
urban planning and development at Ball State? It’s time to apply—but it’s best to learn about our two-tier
application process.
Earning a spot in our
First-Year Program is highly competitive, with an enrollment target of about 160 students. For that reason, check out our
selection criteria to be sure you’re putting your best foot forward. One way to do so is to create and submit a
student portfolio. It’s not required, but it’s a good idea.
You can gain entry in one of
three tracks: fall, spring, or accelerated. It’s wise to apply early, and by all means pay close attention to the
deadlines. Also check out the opportunities for
financial aid, which are many (but tend to have their own set of requirements and deadlines).
The application procedures are different for
transfer students and
international students, so be sure to read them carefully.
