Ball State University has been using a Community Outreach Partnership Center (COPC) grant distributed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for several years. Participating in the program are faculty and students from the College of Architecture and Planning, Miller College of Business, College of Sciences and Humanities, and Teachers College, along with the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Muncie Department of Community Development, Ivy Tech Community College, Muncie Housing Coalition, Habitat for Humanity, Heart of the City Development Corporation, and the Office of the Mayor.
