Graduate Urban Design

Costs and Financial Aid

Tuition

The master of urban design program is housed at an off-campus location and administered through the Online and Distance Education division, which has different tuition rates than on-campus programs. In most cases, tuition is considerably lower than on-campus programs. Consult the Online and Distance Education division for current tuition costs.

Graduate Assistantships

All admitted students are automatically considered for any available graduate assistantships through the College of Architecture and Planning: Indianapolis Center (CAP:IC). CAP:IC always has at least one assistantship available to assist with center operations and activities. CAP:IC also strives to work with firms and organizations to place assistants in an immersive learning work environment through its sponsored graduate assistantship program

All assistantships are merit-based and selected through a resume and interview process. Admitted students will be contacted by e-mail as assistantship opportunities become available.

Other Financial Aid

Student loans, scholarships, and other financial aid programs are available to help graduate students meet the costs of pursuing a degree. For more information on these and other options, contact Ball State’s Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
