STEP ONE:  Apply to the Graduate School or Rinker Center for International Programs.

  1. U.S. applicants: Apply and be accepted to Ball State University by the Graduate School.  Apply to the Graduate School.  
  2. International applicants: Apply to the Rinker Center for International Programs

STEP TWO:  Apply to the Department of Architecture. 

Provide the following materials to Julie Kratzner in the Department of Architecture:

  1. Resume or curriculum vitae
  2. Statement of purpose: Please include your professional and academic background and describe how the Ball State graduate certificate in digital design and fabrication fits with your professional and academic goals.
  3. Three professional references: Please include name, title, organization, address, e-mail, and phone number.
  4. Digital portfolio: No larger than 10 MB.

    Any questions regarding departmental application materials may be directed to Julie Kratzner in the Department of Architecture.   The GRE (Graduate Record Exam) is not required for this graduate certificate in digital design and fabrication.

PLEASE NOTE: Applicants pursuing only a certificate will be admitted as non-degree students. Students who complete a certificate, however, can apply these hours to a degree-granting program upon acceptance to the specific program and department approval. For relevant degree program admissions requirements, please review graduate programs in the Department of Architecture.
