About Us

Our college has years of success under its belt.

It is evident in our growing reputation as one of the top broadcasting schools in the country. Students, faculty, and staff have won 16 regional Emmy Awards from the Cleveland Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences since 2000.

In addition to our Emmys, our faculty and students have won numerous awards including "TV School of the Year" from the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters. We have won three years in a row, and we look for many more.

Our journalism graphics program is one of the leading programs of its type in the country. The Ball State Daily News has been named one of the nation’s best college newspapers by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and has repeatedly received Gold Crown Awards. Several times, the Society for News Design has named the paper as one of the best-designed student newspapers in the world.

As you can see, we’re pretty proud of our college, and it’s because of our diverse faculty and great students.
