Graduate Students Receive Awards

Erin Ledden received the Graduate Merit Fellowship Award; this award is given to exceptional incoming graduate assistants. Erin received this in 2009 and also again for 2010.

In July 2009, Allison Jagoda received certification by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist®.

In March 2009, Micaela Kruckenberg received certification by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist®.

Andrew Wheat has also received certification by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist®.

In December 2008, Diane Campbell received a Graduate Research ASPiRE Grant in support of her project entitled, "The influence of aerobic training on DPBP in Low to Moderate Risk Adults."

In December 2008, Leryn Boyle received a Graduate Research ASPiRE Grant in support of her project entitled, "The effects of Whole Body Vibration on fibrinolysis in Men."

In Addition, Leryn Boyle also received the award for outstanding free communication presentation by a graduate student - master's degree level at the 2008 MWACSM Annual Meeting.
