Courses

Master’s students in the Center for Information and Communication Sciences (CICS) must take the following courses as part of the 38 credit hours required for the degree. All these courses are 3 credit hours except the base technology/lab courses ICS 620 and ICS 621.

In addition to the 24 hours in core courses in the Center for Information and Communication Sciences, master’s students must take 12 hours of CICS electives that match their interests and needs. These courses either are in additional technology or the human, business or regulation areas of the industry. All courses are 3 credit hours unless otherwise indicated. It is also possible (with advisor approval) to include an elective outside the center’s offerings.
