Profile Paul Magro received his Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame, and has been at Ball State since 2008. He has also held faculty appointments at St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana and Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Magro has published articles on various criminal justice relatedĀ topics, with research interests including police and community relations, crime and ethnicity, organized crime, and Italian-American immigrants. He has worked as a police officer and as a loss prevention manager for a large national corporation. At Ball State he has taught Criminology, Introduction to Policing, Organized Crime, and Criminal Evidence.
