Rankings and Recognitions

Our department is ranked in the top 10 percent in the nation with the number of graduates with American Chemical Society (ACS) accredited chemistry majors as well as the second largest producer of undergraduate chemists in Indiana.

Because of our friendly environment, challenging undergraduate and graduate courses, and the hands-on experience, we are noted as being the second largest producer of undergraduate chemists in Indiana by ACS.

We have also been ranked as the fifth largest terminal master’s degree chemistry program in the nation.

Also, our research has shown that the Chemistry Research Immersion Summer Program (CRISP) is currently one of the largest programs of its kind in the nation.
