How to Apply to the Master's Program

Follow these steps to apply:

International Students

If you are an international student, you must apply through International Admissions. You may apply online or print the application and mail it to the Center for International programs

U.S. Citizens

All applicants except international students must apply to the Ball State Graduate School. Submit an application form, application fee, and official transcripts at least four weeks before the semester you plan to enroll in classes.

The procedure for applying to the Graduate School is available online. You can apply online, or you can print the application and send it to the Graduate School.

Computer Science Department Application

You must submit the following to the Computer Science department:

• Three letters of recommendation.
• A one-page statement of educational goals.
• The GRE general test is required.  Subject test scores in computer science are optional.
• Transcripts (if other than Ball State)
