Courses You Will Take
The 15-credit-hour ABA graduate certificate is essentially 15 hours of specialized training in the practice of applied behavior analysis. When the certificate is incorporated into a master’s program, it can lead to special education teacher licensing in various areas. The certificate can be earned independently of a master’s degree to demonstrate a concentration area. However, you must have a master’s in some area to pursue BCBA board certification. This certificate provides the coursework requirements for the BCBA.
Specific courses may vary slightly based on student objectives. For effective program planning, a discussion of your career goals with an advisor is highly recommended.
Please note that the ABA graduate certificate does not lead to a teaching license. Graduate certificates will not accept transfer credits.
