Business Essentials for Professionals

Online Information Session
Register for an online information session to learn more about our master of business administration (MBA) and our graduate business certificates. You will be able to chat live with an advisor.

We designed our all-online business essentials certificate for people like you—an executive or professional who has a degree in a non-business field but needs advanced business skills. Professionals from such fields as architecture, engineering, science, law, nursing, mass communications, education, and many more find this program gives them the edge they need in today’s competitive workplaces.

Benefits of the business essentials certificate include:

  • Gaining valuable knowledge in accounting, economics, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, and operations management to build your own business or enhance your workplace skills
  • Fast-tracking your career advancement—you can earn the certificate in as few as two or three semesters
  • Providing a start to a graduate degree—courses include four of the six prerequisites to enter our master of business administration (MBA) program

In two semesters, you’ll learn valuable information about financial accounting, managing organizational behavior, corporate finance, economics, operations management, and marketing. When you complete this program, you’ll have 12 hours of graduate credit recognized by AACSB International—the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Mode of Delivery
Courses are offered online.
