The following sample plans are based upon two of the most common plans students submit for approval:  

PLAN 1   

Fall Semester

• SPCE 609: Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credit hours)
• SPCE 680: Introduction to Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders (3 credit hours)   

Spring Semester

• SPCE 682: Interventions and Treatments for Person with Autism (3 credit hours)
• SPCE 611: Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credit hours)  

Summer Semester

• SPCE 610: Behavioral Consultation (3 credit hours)
• SPCE 683: Practicum in Autism (3 credit hours)   

Fall Semester

• SPCE 638: Practicum in Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credit hours)
• SPCE 636: Research in Special Education (3 credit hours) 

Spring Semester

• SPCE 660: Seminar: Verbal Behavior (3 credit hours); or SPCED 638: Practicum in Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credit hours)
• SPCE 619: Professional Issues in Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credit hours)

PLAN 2  

Fall Semester

• SPCE 680: Introduction to Persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders (3 credit hours) – 8-week course taken the first half of the semester
• SPCE 682:  Interventions and Treatments for Persons with Autism (3 credit hours) – 8-week course  taken during the second half of the semester
• SPCE 609:  Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis (3 credit hours) – 16-week course
