Requirements for the Finance Concentration

Our finance faculty, who are nationally recognized for quality teaching, will show you how to secure a firm grip on analytical and quantitative skills and to understand the mechanics of financial markets.  

To earn a finance concentration in the MBA program, you must take take nine hours in the following courses:

• RMI 570 Risk Management and Insurance (3 credit hours)
• BL 665 Law, Ethics, and Public Policy in Business (3 credit hours)
• FIN 645 Business Analysis for Value Creation (3 credit hours)
• FIN 650 Investment Management (3 credit hours)
• FIN 680 Global Financial Policy (3 credit hours)
• MBA 649 Entrepreneurial Strategy (1-3 credit hours)
