The Ball State Office of Teacher Education Services (OTES) regulates policies, processes, procedures, and legal issues as well as coordinates all experiences involving observation, participation, student teaching, internships, experimental programs, testing, and licensing.

Field Experiences
TES provides a responsible agency and administrative structure for moving laboratory experiences from a series of minimally related segments to a coordinated program of direct contacts with children, youth, teachers, and institutions.

Licensing
The licensing area of OTES serves as a liaison between Ball State students obtaining an educational license and the state licensing agency in Indiana.

Testing Requirements
For licensure in Indiana all teachers are required to take the Praxis I and II tests.
