I regularly teach classes in poetics, queer literature, modern literature, and American literature survey courses. Occasionally I teach special topics ranging from traditional book-binding to writing for new media. I publish mostly about American and British women writers in Paris between the World Wars, but frequently return to the topic of my dissertation: E. E. Cummings. I am currently working on a book-length literary biography of Solita Solano as well as editing a collection of her journalism. I have held the H. D. Fellowship in American Literature at the Beinecke Library at Yale University.
