I’m a professor of Rhetoric and Composition and the Director of the Writing Center. In a nutshell, I teach writing and teach others how to teach writing. I particularly enjoy teaching research methods that ask students to embark on primary, systematic inquiry in their classrooms and communities. My recent publications have focused on how changes in writing technologies affect writing centers materially and pedagogically. Currently I’m working on a project, which defines and questions the function of writing center narratives in the formation of disciplinary identities. Further information can be found on my personal website.
