Examples of Our Community Services and Projects

• Our annual Creative Writing in the Community course, which provides a venue for the voices of children at risk, the aging population, and persons with mental and physical disabilities.
• The Expectation of Excellence, a Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry course partnered with the Burris Laboratory School and the Indiana High School Athletic Association, to develop a documentary film that explored the cultural impact and social history of Title IX legislation (equity in athletics) by focusing in on the nationally prominent local girls’ volleyball team. 
• Our relationship with Conner Prairie Interactive History Park spans about 10 years with students involved in projects from restructuring interpreter training to museum theatre.
