There’s nothing like a visit in person to fill in the gaps and to get a sense of what it would be like to study in Ball State's Department of English.

If you are seeking a bachelor's degree, make arrangements through the university's Office of Admissions—be sure to mention that you’d like to visit the English department. Typically you (and usually at least one parent) meet with a faculty member to find out more about our programs and facilities.

Graduate students should contact the English department graduate program office at 765-285-8415. The graduate program director will be glad to set up a visit for you. You’ll be able to meet with the graduate program director, talk to some of our current students, and sit in on a class in an area of interest.
