Ball State University Interior Design Program is pleased to announce its seventh summer workshop: the Youth Summer Design Forum! The workshop aims at the education and training of high school students (9-12 grades) who have interest in pursuing interior design at college level.
We are also pleased to announce that this year we offer five scholarships of $500.00 for each participant who demonstrates creative ability, leadership and achievements in high school. Scholarship recipients will be selected from those whose applications demonstrate interest and creative ability in the field of interior design and superior achievement in high school classes. Please include a copy of your resume and transcript in addition to essay, if applying for scholarship.
Participation in this workshop not only will assist the participants to make their final decision before committing themselves to four years of rigorous study in this field but will also assist them to develop a portfolio, a required component of the application in many accredited interior design programs.
The Youth Summer Design Forum is an inclusive program and seeks to blend tradition and innovation in creative learning, covering areas in:
The Interior Design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).
