Nutrition Assessment Lab

The Nutrition Assessment Laboratory is staffed by Dietetics students and supervised by Nutrition faculty in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. This lab, funded by The Lilly Foundation, was established to help the Ball State community assess their nutrition-related health habits and behaviors and to assist them in making healthier food choices.

The Nutrition Assessment Laboratory provides a superior supervised immersive learning experience for our graduate students in Nutrition and Dietetics. With trained laboratory assistants and scientifically tested equipment, we are able to offer comprehensive nutrition assessment and counseling in a safe and comfortable environment. Services are available during the open lab hours or by appointment Monday through Friday.
