Cross-Training in Different Areas of Geography
One of the great things about our program is that you’re able to get experience in both emphases. For you to be competitive in the job market, you need to have as much expertise about the field as you can.
Applied atmospheric emphasis students will have the opportunity to learn about
geographic information processing and vice-versa. Cross-training will provide you with a solid background in remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), advanced cartography, and operational meteorology to be applied to various subdisciplines of geography and allied fields.
