Associate Professor of Geography
Jerzy Jemiolo is an associate professor of geography. He has been at Ball State since 1988. His specialties are in transportation, travel, and tourism. His research interests include travel and tourism, air transport, regional development, Europe, and Russia and its neighbors. His most recent journal publication will appear in GeoJournal (2006). His current grant is funded by the Slovenian Research Agency which covers travel and visits of Slovenian scholars in the U.S. and U.S. partners to Slovenia for 2006-2007. His most frequently taught classes include Global Geography, Geography of Europe, Geography of Russia & Her Neighbors, Tours & Meetings Management, Travel Consulting, Tourism Development, and Field Studies in Distant Areas. He received both his MS and PhD from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland.
