The job offers for our geology graduates keep rolling in.
While some of our students decide to pursue graduate school after receiving their bachelor's degrees, many have landed jobs in several areas of interest. Graduates work in companies involved in environmental and engineering geology, hydrogeology and groundwater protection, and energy resource exploration and development. Graduates also found employment in state and national governmental agencies, which allow them to work on protecting natural resources, provide expert advice to communities, and build a broad and deep understanding of the land and ocean areas they oversee.
Current job titles held by our graduates include geologist, ground water hydrogeologist, professional consultant, teacher (earth/space science), professor, engineering geologist, resource manager, environmental scientist, petroleum geologist, and GIS mapping specialist.
While many of our students chose to work in the Midwest on environmental pollution and protection problems, several of our students work or have worked in Texas, California, and Alaska as well as Europe, Africa, the Southwest Pacific, and Antarctica.
