Freshman Year Experience

Ball State offers a supportive environment for students, and special programs help freshmen make a successful transition to college life. The university's efforts have repeatedly been recognized by U.S. News & World Report.

One such program is Freshman Connections, which puts students in living-learning communities. We offer a section of Geology 101 that serves as a course for Freshman Connections.
