Our participation in the university's science doctor of education (EdD) program opens up new avenues of preparation for geoscience education careers in secondary, community college, and other small college settings. The small size of our department allows us to be responsive to individual student needs and interests in planning a program.
Our doctoral degree program prepares you for a career in which you will help college students learn science, share your excitement of science with adult learners, and be involved in research in your field through one of our two science doctoral degrees, which are the
EdD in science and EdD in science education.
