Program Features

We take pride in offering our students high quality educational opportunities. We have new and attractive facilities, and currently, we are receiving more job opportunities than we have graduate students! So needless to say, there are plenty of jobs out there for you.
 
Also, since geology is such a hands-on discipline, we offer our awesome summer field study in the Black Hills of South Dakota and many other field trips, research opportunities, and internships to give you real-world experience outside of the classroom.

Our department also offers five graduate assistantships.
