To be admitted to our
doctor of education program in adult, higher, and community education, you’ll need to satisfy the
requirements of the Graduate School, and you’ll need to complete the
departmental application procedures.
You will need to complete an
application for the Graduate School and include your Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores.
In addition, you must submit to the Department of Educational Studies:
- two copies of official transcripts of all of your college-level work
- five professional or academic letters of recommendation
- a current education and employment resume
- a 500- to 1,000-word autobiography
- a 500- to 1,000-word philosophy of education statement
- a three- to five-page description of your intended purpose for earning a doctoral degree
